Niger is in West Africa, right on the edge of the Sahara Desert.  It is a very poor nation, with very little rain.  The farmers in Niger have a difficult time because the soil here is mainly sand.  Each year the people face famine conditions depending of how much rain came.  The main crop is millet.

We thank God for giving us the opportunity to live and work in Niger, where the main religion is Moslem.  God has been moving and we now have 40 churches, 2 Bible Schools, 5 A/G Christian Schools for the whole country.  God has done so many miracles in Niger, and we praise God for allowing us to be a part of His work.

Maradi is 500 miles from the capital city of Niamey.  God has allowed us to be a part of the work in the East when we began the work on our front porch in 1991.

May/June begins the rainy season.  We have a lot of dust and a little rain.  Everyone begins to wish for rain, since we have been through a hard hot three months.  The dust comes first, then a little rain.  We are praying for rain, so the farmers can get a harvest!
